?? What You'll Be Doing

You'll dive into a variety of hands-on accounting tasks, including:

?? Daily Accounting Operations

• Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, posting, balancing, and adjustments
• Maintain both manual and computerized financial records
• Review and verify accounting transactions for accuracy and compliance

?? Revenue & Payments

• Receive and reconcile incoming revenues
• Allocate payments to the correct accounts
• Prepare bank deposits and deposit receipts
• Record and submit accurate journal entries

?? Credit Card & Vendor Support

• Maintain and reconcile credit card accounts
• Prepare, post, and audit invoices
• Ensure all invoices follow District policies
• Set up new vendor and customer accounts
• Process vendor/customer invoices and produce checks

?? Closing & Compliance

• Assist with year-end and periodic closing
• Support reconciliations and audit processes
• Review documents for completeness and compliance with rules and regulations
